NCC Statement on U.S. – China Board of Trade Outcomes
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The National Cotton Council appreciates the Trump Administration’s efforts to improve trade relations between the United States and China and welcomes the inclusion of cotton among the products identified for potential tariff adjustments. “Efforts to reduce trade barriers and create opportunities for increased demand are positive steps for U.S. cotton,” said NCC Chairman Nathan Reed. “We look forward to continued efforts that support expanded market access and policies that strengthen the competitiveness of U.S. cotton in the global marketplace.” ###
